The short version: we do not ask who you are, we do not use cookies, and we do not keep your quiz answers.
Who we are
New to Gaming is run by inzention.com, an Australian business. Contact us at hello@inzention.com.
What we collect
- Page visits. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It records which page was viewed, where the visitor came from, an approximate location, and the type of device and browser. It uses no cookies. It tells visitors apart with a code made from the request, and that code is discarded after 24 hours. It is designed so that it cannot identify you. We have set it up to ignore everything in a page address after the question mark, so your quiz answers and search words are not sent to it.
- Our host. Vercel serves our pages and processes each request to do so.
- Emails. If you email us we keep your message so we can reply.
What we do not collect
We have no accounts, no sign-up, no advertising trackers and no tracking cookies. We do not sell information about you.
Quiz answers and results
The address of a results page contains your answers, so you can bookmark it or send it to someone. Anyone with that address can see the answers. We use them to show your results and we do not save them in a database or link them to you.
Settings saved on your device
Your text size, high contrast choice and the console you play on are saved in your own browser so you do not have to set them again. They stay on your device and are never sent to us. You can clear them in your browser settings.
Links to shops and other sites
Our game and console pages link to shops such as the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Steam, the App Store and Google Play. When you click one, that site may set its own cookies on its own website. We do not control those. Each site explains this in its own privacy notice.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@inzention.com. If you have not emailed us, we hold nothing that identifies you.
